My web cam will not work in messenger IMs Nothing but black.?
My web cam is a Logitech QuickCam Chat that works perfectly except in messenger IMs. Then when I invite someone to view my web cam it broadcasts just black. I have tried to contact Logitech but I cant ever find on their website any place to get support. HHEEELLLLPPPP! Please.
you might try downloading latest drivers for your hardware. I think the core problem tho is microsoft the monopoly They seem to do what they want with standards and there is not much anyone can do about it. Poor vendors have to adapt..and pass the costs on to the customers regardless if the change is to benefit microsoft.. or the customers. here's a link to logitech customer service:
