Is it safe to use chrome cleaner to polish a trumpet?
Its nearing the time where i go around and clean my instruments and i was wondering if it was safe to use chrome cleaner on brass instruments, specifically trumpets
NO! Depending on the material of your trumpet use its specific treatment. For silver plated trumpets use silver cleaner (same polish as for silver plates), for gold lacquer a very mild soap and warm water does well.
