Brass Hinges
Revision to question regarding Bronze Door Hinges?
I asked the question incorrectly. I will replace my hinges with ones that have an oil-Rubbed Bronze finish, as they must match all my Door Knobs.
So, I know they are 3 1/2 x3 1/2, 5/8 round, three hole hinges. Home Depot has no bronze, another local place charges $25/hinge. So, if I can get the 'gage' right and make sure they are not cheap ones and Baldwin seems like good quality (I have their Front Door Knob Set) is stainless or brass as a base for the finish best? I do live on the water so I'm guessing stainless. Suggestions for on-line stores would be great. I know of a few: homecenter.com, hardwaresource.com. I won't get Ball Bearing ones, overkill. Thanks!
