Sliding closet door nightmares?
I have sliding doors all over the house. They are constantly going off track. I end up having to pick the doors up and move them over. I cannot stress enough how much I HATE them. I cannot afford to replace all the closet doors in my house, but does anyone know of a better alternative? I haven't been to Lowes lately. Do they sale some kind of Sliding Door kit that doesn't allow them to go off the track?
Sounds like they are warn. In the hardware section of Lowes, there are all the pieces to rebuild your doors. runners. wheels, guides everything. alot cheaper than new doors. try replaceing the guides and wheels. lastly replace the runner at the top. Best way to do this is to take one door down and take the hardware off of it and take it to lowes to match it up. if you were in my town, i would take you right to them, lol. I work for Lowes.
