Keyless Entry will lock but not unlock?
I have a 2006 Volkswagen Jetta and until today everything was fine. Today, my flipkey will lock all the doors but If I click lock, it won't lock. I can insert my key and unlock it manually and it's fine, The alarm doesn't go off or anything. I'd just like to know what's the deal with my key. Thanks.

I have a VW Passat and it sounds like the batteries in your key need to be replaced. I am not positive but I you may need to get a new keyfob- I have no idea how to open the battery compartment. My battery in one of my keyfobs died a few years ago and I have just been using the second set ever since. Call the place where you got your car if its a VW dealer they will help you.
