Are diamonds the only stones that cut glass?
I found this weird rock that looks like kryptonite or something,and it cuts glass.
Window glass has a hardness of 5.5 on the Moh's hardness scale, and so could be scratched by feldspar, quartz, topaz, corrundum and diamond. Nearly all precious and semi-precious gems are harder than glass, so scratching glass is no test for a diamomd.

Glass in Burke's van doesn't match broken glass found at crime scene
A crime lab technician testified late Monday that glass fragments recovered from the minivan of former U.S. Army Sgt. Brent Burke, an Ursa, Ill., native, did not match broken glass at the Rineyville home where Karen Comer and Burke's estranged wife, Tracy, were fatally shot three years ago.
