Experiencing Writer's Block...please give me some ideas continuing my creative writing piece?
This is what i have....i dunno what to make out of it :/
On August 6, 2003 at 1:32pm and 45 seconds, a Eisenia foetida commonly known as earthworm, is held hostage within the thumb and the index fingertips of Kane Rocha on the Alderfield Lane New York in Huntington. At that same second, in the backyard of the Garcia’s family, the wind flung itself violently by an unknown force, making a Pinarello bicycle collapse on the ground, while Pete Garcia tasted his arroz con pollo. In that same instant, 2nd floor of number 16 in the Vanet Apartment, situated on 12 Pepper Street of London, Emile Marian is satisfied of his draft, after attempting nine times. Still in the same instant, the fingers of Eliza Iman glided along two white piano keys, performing Chopin’s waltz op.64 no.2. Eleven month later…
Without much information as to why you are writing this, it's hard to give any advice. Is it part of a larger work, like the Intro to a novel? Is it something you've been assigned as part of a class? Are you working on some specific aspect of your writing that this piece is meant to stress and improve?
From what I can tell, it seems like a creative writing exercise in which you've stalled. And honestly, that's the point. You should end up with many of these fragments in your career as a writer, whether you do it professionally or simply for fun.
Technically speaking, be careful with your shifting tenses. "... is held hostage ... the wind flung ..." Although the majority of the piece holds together, that one hiccup breaks your pace even if the reader can't put their finger on the specific cause. Other than that, without a clearer picture of what you're going for... not a lot of help I can offer.
