cordless control?
I built a "robot" for school. How can I WIRELESSLY turn it on? I basically need to know how to create a remote where when I puch the button, he starts running... just like a wireless switch? Please help me
It is probably impractical for you to try to build something like this from scratch. You would have to build a radio transmitter and a receiver.
If you are OK with line-of-sight control, you can make something simple from an infrared LED transmitter module and a matched receiver module. You can find things like this at, for example, Digikey. Look at the "Remote Control receivers" on this page:

You would also have to obtain and build the corresponding LED transmitter. It has to be modulated light; simply connecting an LED to a battery won't work.
You didn't indicate your level of expertise, but be aware that this is not something that will just snap together and work. It's great if you want to experiment and learn, but be aware that you will need to read the application notes and design your own circuit in order to make this work.
Another approach would be to get a cheap radio-controlled toy and take that apart, then harvest the receiver and amplifier for your project.
