what hardware do i need to set up a wireless network?
i have a desktop pc that is wired to a wired broadband router. i have a wifi laptop. what do i need to connect the laptop to the pc in a wireless network. Not just a wireless router to connect to the broadband, i would like to be able to access files on the pc from the laptop.
also, my pc sometimes runs slow (at 100%) will this cause the laptops internet to slow?
You only need one wireless router.Connect the wireless router to your phone line and desktop pc using wires you can then connect your laptop wirelessly to the router and then set up a network connection
( this is a setting on the computer not hardware) this will allow the laptop to share files with the desktop and vice versa.
